The Jazz Lose and the Fans are Losers Too

DJ and PK characterize the Jazz game 5 loss as being a missed opportunity. The Jazz had several opportunities to take the lead and at the end win the game but failed to take advantage.

DJ and PK took phone calls about who was to blame. The general feeling is the Jazz lost so someone has to burn. Carlos Boozer was a candidate for scapegoat and the refs took the blame in some callers eyes. Others took a step back and showed some perspective by saying the Jazz could never win in LA.

“Shotgun” Willy needed a day off so he sent me to his friend Martin who lives in a trashed out mobile home. Marty runs a protection racket (he extorts money from honest store owners by making them pay to keep him from trashing their shops) and the Colombian gang started moving in on his turf. We went to a butcher shop and beat the tar out of a couple of game members then Marty punished the store keeper for really no reason by raising his monthly rate. Marty was feeling good so we went to a grocery store and as Martin terrorized the owner I took a baseball bat to the frozen food isle. I answered the question which flies farther when hit with a Louisville Slugger: a chicken pot pie or a quart of ice cream. We finished off the day by beating up some more Colombians, stealing a couple of cars and running over the random pedestrian. Marty paid me $200 for my efficient work.
