A Day Without DJ

DJ is out at a “speaking engagement”. DJ is trying to inflate his public profile but assuming the mantle of public role model/local TV Icon. As DJ fights to craft his public image in the hearts and minds of all the viewing public Pace Mannion joined PK for morning discussion and frivolity. Both were surprised that the Spurs are down 0-2 the Hornets. Pace said all season long he expected New Orleans to fade like Portland did but said that they have shown maturity and resilience that could lead them to the Western Conference title. Pace brought up that Bruce Bowen took Steve Nash out of the game in the last series but Chris Paul is working over Bowen getting his shot whenever and wherever he wants.

PK has established Pace as the front runner to replace Jerry Sloan. PK was clear that the negotiations are secret and ongoing but progress is being made.
