It has been another fun day in politics for elected officials. In Detroit, Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick has been caught sending x-rated text messages to a staff member he was having an affair with.. He is accused of stealing time and money from the people of Detroit because he sent the texts during working hours on a city owned phone. Which state is next to have a high profile elected official caught in some secret relationship. I hope it is Utah. Watching Mormons go nuts over a elected official and secret sexual relationship would make me just giddy.

Polling has found that those economic stimulus checks that the government will be sending to tax payers int eh next couple of months will likely go unspent. Most people say they will put their money meant to help the economy in the bank.
